PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

Thank you for your interest in Wilson's Hospital School. I am really excited to introduce you to what we have to offer in our school.

Wilson’s is an inclusive, co-educational day and boarding school and serves the needs of all who come to be educated here. To this day, our school is a place where true love of knowledge makes all study a discovery and joy.

Faithful to the Last Will and Testament of Andrew Wilson in 1724, Wilson’s Hospital School maintains a distinctive Church of Ireland ethos, fostering Christian practice and teaching, promoting dignity and respect for the individual and constantly committed to the provision of a caring family atmosphere in which education can flourish.

Care and respect is at the heart of everything we do. Our school exists to serve the needs of all who come to be educated here.

Head Boy and Head Girl

HEAD BOY & HEAD GIRL WELCOME

Head Girl:
My name is Clodagh Ramsey and being appointed Head Girl of Wilson’s Hospital School for this academic year is an honour I hold very close to my heart. Wilson’s is a school with a strong sense of tradition and community, and it has shaped not only my education but also the person I have become. To represent the student body in a place that values character, ambition and kindness as much as achievement means a great deal to me. Throughout my time in Wilson’s I have come to appreciate how special the atmosphere of the school truly is. It is a place where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, to support one another and to make the most of every opportunity that comes their way. As Head Girl, I have tried to reflect those values in the way I carry myself – by leading with positivity, showing respect to others and always willing to listen.

Head Boy:
My name is Graham Duggan and I am the Head Boy of Wilson’s Hospital School for this academic year. Having spent six years here, I have experienced so much and created great memories that will stay with me forever. Wilson’s is a school with a very strong sense of community. Our teachers, sports coaches and support staff are all deeply committed to creating an environment where every student can find something that suits them—whether that’s joining a club, a committee, a sports team, or a music group. I have always loved the school’s rural setting, its history and the traditions that give Wilson’s its character. Some of my favourite traditions include the annual Christmas dinner and the summer sports evening, which are so enjoyable. My time at Wilson’s has been so special to me in so many ways, and I will always value the lasting friendships I’ve made here.
