WHAT WE DO
We aim to promote the interests of parents/guardians as partners in education, in a positive spirit of cooperation. We also aim to foster good relations between parents/guardians, teachers, students, and the school authorities.
On a practical level we organise and support activities throughout the year to help with school fundraising and provide opportunities for parents and guardians to get involved in school events and to get to know each other.
Over the years the Parents Council have organised, very enjoyable family table quizzes, Christmas get togethers, 6th Form parents’ BBQ and a host of successful fundraising events. In Summer 2022 we organised a Summer Fete, it was a great success and a very enjoyable event for one and all. September 2024 our Golf Classic and "Sponsor a Tile" raffle, saw another great success in our fundraising endeavours, please see Events and Fundraising for a full update on our Golf Classic.
Along with fundraising and social events, we also endeavour to invite guest speakers to give presentations on topics of interest to parents/guardians.
